About Robyn

Robyn Shrater Seemann studied theatre arts and design at Brandeis University in Waltham, MA. After a brief stint working in a costume shop of a professional theatre, she realized that by morphing her costume design skills into graphic design, she could help more people reach out to more audiences.  Robyn went to work in the design and production department for a local newspaper in the Washington, DC area, harking back to her days working as editor of her high school newspaper. In 2004, the time had come to start her own company and share her services to the world. She has had fun working with a variety of non-profits, small businesses and individuals ever since.

“As any designer will tell you, creating your own mark is the greatest challenge a designer faces. After many comps and revisions, I thought about the meaning of creativity, how free and unencumbered we must be to fully create. And who embodies that sense of freedom and devil-may-care attitude better than a four-year old? Or at least, when I was four I relished in coloring pictures and telling stories, or simply spinning in a circle with the wind in my hair. That childlike state is what we tap into when the most innovative ideas come running. That’s when I knew, the identity for RS2Studio had to be the four-year old me, pigtails, smile and all.”
